Tax season just started, many started to receive W-2s and other tax forms. Due date for filing the taxes this year is Apr. 18.
You can file a tax return free with TurboTax if you have a qualifying income or if you meet certain criteria (criteria below). There are other free resources to file a tax as well. Usually AARP offers free tax filing in local libraries, you have to sign them up well early.
If you don’t qualify for the free tax return, you may have shell some dollars to file your taxes. Lowest fee for Deluxe is $29 (covers basic and itemized deductions), Premier is $54 (adds stocks, crypto, rental properties, etc.) and the self-employed is $69 (LLC, etc.).

Costco also offers limited time up to $15 discount on TurboTax software.
